Nothing matched that.

name each person says at the top of their take.

New video
Pick who is in it, say what it is about, and choose how it should look.
Who is in it?
Add another interview
Pick one to cut them together, like a
team compilation. Skip this if it is just the one person.
Optional. With several people this is what each one gets chosen
against; on its own it picks their best moment on that subject.
Treatment
This only makes a plan and a preview. Nothing renders until you
have looked at it in the editor.
Add footage
Send us video straight from here. It goes into your library
overnight — thumbnails and search may take a little while to catch up.
Drop video files here, or click to choose them.
Several at once is fine.
Turn an interview into a finished video, with B-roll pulled from this client's own footage.
Each client has its own library. Footage, interviews and finished videos are all kept apart by client.
Everyone you deal with. A contact can belong to no client, one, or several.
Now move the actual files
Open both in separate tabs, then drag the files across. Google Drive keeps each file's id when it moves, so nothing gets re-analysed and the library follows them automatically.
The files to move
Nothing breaks if you do this later, or never. The library already shows these clips under the new client. Until the files move, they simply sit in the old client's Drive folder.
Working on it
Starting up
Reading the interview, choosing the best part,
then finding B-roll. A couple of minutes. The editor opens on its own when it is ready.
Edit
0:00
Preview is 360p and skips the trimmed pauses, so it jumps a
little. The render is the real thing.
The plan
What it will cut to, and why
Tell it what to change
Plain language. It only changes the plan, never renders.

Client
Share this folder (and any shoot folders below it) with
the indexer’s service account (loading…) as a Viewer so the nightly indexer can read it.
Paste the whole folder URL and the ID is pulled out automatically.
Finished videos already edited outside FootageIQ (shorts, testimonials, shop tours) show up under Finished videos.
Your Wistia account itself (the API token and account subdomain) is set once for your whole
FootageIQ account, above the client list.
Primary contact
Shoots (Drive folders the indexer walks)
Each shoot is a Drive folder. Active shoots are re-checked every night at 3 AM Pacific, and new clips get indexed automatically.

Brand
Used for captions, the corner logo,
the moving border and the end card, so a finished video looks like theirs.
People on camera
The roster the indexer matches names against. A name is only attached to a clip when it is spoken aloud or shown on screen, so spelling here should match how people say it. Aliases catch the variations.
